The Darke County Sheriff's Office offers Vacation House Checks as a service to help provide peace of mind while residents are away from their homes. Deputies will periodically monitor the exterior of your property for signs of suspicious activity or other concerns during your absence.

If you would like to request this service, please complete and submit the form below. Should deputies observe any issues requiring attention, we will attempt to contact you or your designated keyholder. Upon your return, please notify our Dispatch Center so the residence can be removed from the check list.

Please Note: Vacation House Checks are limited to a maximum duration of six (6) months.
