  • CORRECTIONS OFFICER

Corrections Officers supervise inmates in a correctional setting; enforce applicable jail rules and regulations and the Ohio Revise Code, patrol buildings, yards and corridors to ensure the safety and security of the facility. Experience/Certification Required: Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older United States citizen High School Diploma or equivalent Meet physical, mental and training qualifications as set by the Sheriff Valid Ohio drivers license Absence of a criminal record On the job and state certification training provided Salary/Benefits: Starting at $21.28/hr Longevity Pay - based on years of service Ohio Public Employee Retirement Health Insurance Dental Insurance Personal Days - can earn up to 4 personal days per year Vacation Time Sick Leave Paid Holidays
  • 911 DISPATCHER
    Job Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Career Level: Entry How To Apply: In person or fill out the application on our website Summary 12 hour shifts. Dispatchers receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency telephone calls from the public; dispatch appropriate emergency services agencies; monitor public safety personnel in the field; retrieve and enter computer data. Dispatchers work with multiple computer and phone systems and must be able to multi-task. Background in public safety (law, fire, EMS) is a plus, but not necessary. Experience/Certification Required: Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older United States citizen; High School Diploma or equivalent Meet physical, mental and training qualifications as set by the Sheriff Valid Ohio Drivers License Absence of a criminal record On the job training provided.
