CCW & Background Checks

IMPORTANT WARNING

FAILURE TO DISCLOSE A CRIMINAL RECORD WHEN APPLYING FOR A CCW PERMIT WILL BE TREATED AS FILING A FALSE LEGAL DOCUMENT AND COULD RESULT IN CRIMINAL PROSECUTION AND/OR THE DENIAL OF YOUR PERMIT! YOUR APPLICATION IS CONSIDERED A LEGAL DOCUMENT AND IT IS EXPECTED TO CONTAIN COMPLETE AND ACCURATE INFORMATION.

IF YOU HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD, NO MATTER HOW MINOR YOU MAY THINK IT IS AND EVEN IF IT IS SEALED, YOU MUST INDICATE IT ON YOUR APPLICATION AND DIVULGE IT THE TIME OF YOUR APPOINTMENT. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL DELAY YOU IN RECEIVING YOUR PERMIT, OR MAY KEEP YOU FROM RECEIVING IT AT ALL.
