The Darke County Sheriff's Office has been advised that some Verizon customers may experience trouble dialing 911. They are being directly transferred to the business lines at our office. We are currently working with Brightspeed and Verizon to remedy this situation. If you dial 911 and are met with an automated message, please hit "1" immediately to be transferred to Dispatch.
