FATAL CRASH INVESTIGATION

On June 2, 2026 at approximately 12:33 p.m. Darke County Deputies along with Greenville Township Fire and Rescue, Greenville City Fire, and Lutheran Air, responded to the 2600 block of State Route 571 for a 2-vehicle head-on crash with injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed a red 2025 Ram pick-up truck driven by Larry Addis, 82, of Greenville, was traveling southeast on State Route 571 when he drove left-of-center colliding head-on with a red 2021 Toyota Prius, which was traveling northwest, driven by Lorretta Biggs, 62, of Troy. Biggs was pronounced dead at the scene, and Addis was flown to Miami Valley Hospital aboard Lutheran Air.
The Darke County Coroner's Office and Darke County Sheriff's Office Accident Reconstruction Team also assisted with this investigation.
This crash remains under investigation.

On June 2, 2026 at 4:57 pm Larry Addis died as a result of his injuries sustained in the accident.
