DRUG ARREST

On 2-19-2022 at approximately 2051 hours while Darke County Deputies were on patrol they located a gray 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer in the 7600 block of Greenville Celina Road. The vehicle had pulled into a couple of nearby businesses and appeared to be acting suspicious. A stop was made on the vehicle and during the investigation a Darke County K-9 was deployed alerting to the vehicle. The driver, Jason Landers ,47, of Lynn Indiana was found to be in possession of approximately 20 grams of Methamphetamine along with other drug paraphernalia items.

Greenville Police Department also responded to the scene to assist the investigation. Mr. Landers was arrested at the scene and transported to the Darke County Jail.

This incident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
