CRASH INVESTIGATION

On January 10th 2020 at approximately 8:26 P.M. Darke County Deputies along with Greenville Township Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the area of Russ Road and Ohio Street in reference to an accident with injury.


Preliminary investigation revealed a gray 2005 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Samantha Borem, 22, of Arcanum was traveling East on Russ Road at the intersection of Ohio Street. Ms. Borem failed to maintain assured clear distance striking the rear of a 2013 maroon Hyundai driven by Cassaundra Blasingame, 36, of New Lebanon that was stopped for a traffic light. Ms. Borem was treated by Greenville Township Rescue and released at the scene. Ms. Blasingame was transported to Wayne Health Care by Greenville Township Rescue with minor injuries.


This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
