CRASH INVESTIGATION


On May 16, 2020 at approximately 4:21 P.M. Darke County Deputies along with Ansonia Rescue, and Greenville Township Fire Department, were dispatched to U.S. Route 127, and Villa Court in reference to a crash with injury.


Preliminary investigation revealed a Tan 1999 Toyota Avalon driven by, Martin Hubbard, (62), of Hamilton, Ohio, was traveling South on U.S. Route 127. Mr. Hubbard struck a White 2014 Mazda CX-5 driven by, Ryan Dilts, (43), of Springfield, Ohio, in the rear, causing Mr. Dilts' vehicle to strike a Black 2019 Jeep Latitude driven by, Christina Stevens, (33), of Greenville, Ohio, in the rear. Mrs. Stevens was slowed in traffic to make a right hand turn onto Villa Court at the time of the accident. Mr. Dilts, a female passenger, and a juvenile passenger were transported to Wayne Hospital by Ansonia Rescue. Mr. Hubbard and Mrs. Stevens was treated and released at the scene.


This accident remains under investigation.
