CRASH INVESTIGATION


On April 12, 2020 at 5:36 p.m. a Darke County Sheriff’s Deputies, Tri Village Rescue, New Madison Fire Department and Miami Valley Care Flight were dispatched to a residence in the 1400 block of State Route 121 on a single vehicle dirt bike accident.



Preliminary investigation revealed that James McClure (54), of New Madison Ohio, was on his property riding a 2013 Green Kawasaki dirt bike. Mr. McClure lost control of his dirt bike and was ejected.



Mr. McClure was flown to Miami Valley Hospital by Care Flight where his condition is unknown at the time of this release. Mr. McClure was not wearing a helmet.



This accident remains under investigation.
