CRASH INVESTIGATION

On December 24, 2019 at approximately 5:45 A.M. Darke County Deputies along with Ansonia Fire and Rescue responded to the intersection of US 127 and State Route 47 on a reported two vehicle injury crash.


Preliminary investigation revealed a Black 2009 Pontiac G8 driven by Malyia Anguiano 20, of Union City, Ohio was traveling Eastbound on State Route 47 and failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection of US 127 do to the dense fog and collided with a Blue 2012 Ford Fusion driven by Penny Miller 48, of Greenville, Ohio who was attempting to travel South on US 127. Both drivers were transported to Wayne HealthCare for minor injuries.


Anguiano was issued a citation for failure to stop for a stop sign.
