JUVENILE BURN INCIDENT
On May 25, 2020 at approximately 7:14 P.M. Darke County Deputies along with Bradford Rescue and Careflight were dispatched to 8408 Versailles Southeastern Road, Stillwater Campground, on a juvenile that had fallen into a fire.
Preliminary investigation revealed several juveniles were playing at a camp site. One of the juveniles fell into a fire pit while playing. Bradford Rescue treated the juvenile at the scene and transported them to a landing zone, where they were then flown to Dayton Children's Hospital by Careflight. The juvenile is believed to have non life-threatening injures. The juveniles where being supervised at the time of the incident.
This incident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
